Indications
Ivermectin injection is indicated for the effective treatment and control of various parasites in cattle, sheep, and camels.In cattle, it is used to treat gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, cattle grubs,screw worms, fly larvae, sucking lice, as well as mange and mites. For sheep, Ivermectin injection is effective against gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, sheep nose bot larvae, and also manages infestations of mange and mites.In camels, the injection targets gastrointestinal roundworms along with issues related to mange and mites.
This broad-spectrum parasiticide offers a reliable solution for managing parasitic infections across these livestock species.
Dosage and Administration
Usage:
Ivermectin should be administered only by subcutaneous injection beneath the loose skin behind the shoulder. The recommended dosage is1 ml per 50 kg. Do not exceed the above-mentioned dosage. Cattle, sheep, and camels must not be treated within 35 days of slaughter for human consumption.
Withholding Periods
Do not use in females producing milk for human consumption.
Do not use in pregnant heifers within 60 days of calving.
This product is not for intramuscular (IM) orintravenous (IV) use.
Do not smoke or eat while handling the product.
Wash hands after use.
Precautions & Warning:
1.Transitory discomfort has been observed in some cattle following subcutaneous administration. A low incidence of soft tissue swelling at the injection site has been observed. These reactions have disappeared without treatment.
2.Use sterile equipment and sanitize the injection site by applying a suitable disinfectant. Clean, properly disinfected needles should be used to reduce the potential for injection site infection.
3.Observe cattle for injection site reactions. Reactions may be due to clostridial infection and should be aggressively treated with appropriate antibiotics. If injection site infections are suspected, consult your veterinarian.

4.Ivermectin Injection for Cattle and Swine has been developed specifically for use in cattle, swine, reindeer and American bison only. This product should not be used in other animal species as severe adverse reactions, including fatalities in dogs may result.
Adverse Reactions:
Cattle Mild and transient discomfort has occasionally been observed in cattle following subcutaneous administration. A low incidence of soft tissue swelling at the injection site has been observed. Sheep Discomfort, sometimes intense but usually transient, has been observed in some sheep following subcutaneous administration. In both species these reactions disappear without treatment.
Drug interactions:
Ivermectin Injection for Cattle and Sheep has been used concurrently without adverse effects with foot and mouth disease vaccine or clostridial vaccine, given at separate injection sites. Adequate vaccination of sheep against clostridial infections is strongly recommended.
