This medication is suitable for livestock such as camels, cows, pigs, goats, and sheep.
Additionally, it is effective for treating horses and companion animals, including cats and dogs.
Dosage and Administration
Usage:
For cows, the recommended dosage of Streptomycin Sulfate is 5 mg/kg, administered intramuscularly (IM) every 12 hours for a duration of 4-7 days. In cases of leptospirosis, the dosage may be increased to 25 mg/kg or more, with treatment lasting 4-10 days.For sheep and goats, the dosage is 10 mg/kg, given IM every 12 hours, also for 4-7 days. Pigs receive the same dosage of 10 mg/kg,
administered IM every 12 hours for 4-7 days. Horses should be given 5 mg/kg IM every 12 hours for a duration of 4-7 days. It is important to note that dosages may vary based on the animal's health status, species, age, and weight. Precautions & Warning:
The withdrawal time is 7 days for slaughter. For milk, the withdrawal timeis 2 days.The time of withdrawal depends on the country's regulatory requirements.
